Levante Beach is also referred to as the Sunrise Beach. It is one among the 2 beaches that encompass the Benidorm resort on the Costa Blanca in Spain. The Benidorm resort is located at a distance of close to twenty miles from Alicante. Levante is in the vicinity of downtown Benidorm, and the esplanade next to the beach with a number of cafes and bars lining is always pulsating with activity, night and day, as the beach is a hot favorite with locals and tourists alike. The mile long beach is extremely popular.

The location is among the most happening in the area, and there is no dearth of choice to entertainment options; the numerous discotheques, clubs, pubs, cabaret halls, comedy clubs, casinos, and much more will keep you entertained to the max. There are a handful of restaurants here as well, serving some decently priced fare, and make for a peaceful evening just watching the action.

Levante beach is a luscious golden stretch of sand, and the shore gently shelves into the turquoise sea extremely gently, and the shallow waters make it a safe option for children. The waters are extremely clear as well. The pristine sands and crystal clear blue waters make for some heavenly beach experiences. The Benidorm resort is extremely popular with families, and there are a number of organizes beach entertainment and fun activities that are offered for children.

Levante Beach is also a popular meeting point for all manner of water sport enthusiasts, as the beach offers a range of water sports, these are inclusive of wind surfing, water skiing, jet skiing, para gliding, scuba diving, snorkeling among others. There is also the off beat sport of cable skiing on offer at the beach. Apart from the numerous water sports on offer at Levante beach Spain, there are a number of slides and diving rafts, which make for some fun in the water.

There are a bunch of other areas to head to as well. Terra Mitica, Aqualandia are three theme parks in the vicinity, and are suitable destinations to have fun with the family after the beach. There are also day trips possible to areas like Canelobra Caves, and Algar Falls. There is a lot of activities on offer locally, as well there is a golf course, an aquarium, go karting, mountain biking, rock climbing, safari park, quad bike tours, jeep safaris, botanical gardens, boat and catamaran trips and boat rides on glass bottom boats.

Levante Beach has sunshine all year round, although in the winter days, there is about five hours of sunshine, and in the summer, there is about 10 days of sunshine. Temperatures here are averaged at 30 degree Celsius in the Jul – Aug period, but sometimes even touch 40 degree C.
